Thankyou to everyone who left food donations at the Bendigo Bank. We have given them to the local Salvation Army with a $1,000 donation for their Christmas Hampers for locals.

The community joined with us in September as we celebrated our year’s achievements and presented the 2018 community grants. Mt Alexander Community Enterprise is a voluntary group raising funds for our shire through its funding partnership with Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco. Each year we distribute funds to our core projects, Wesley Hill Sports Complex redevelopment and Castlemaine Community Hot Rod Centre, as well as our annual small grants, Food@Christmas for the Salvation Army and other projects.
For every new or existing customer who chooses these services and asks to tag their account as a MtACE supporter, the Bank or Telco contributes a commission to MtACE, so the more who sign up, the greater the funds we have to return to the community and it doesn’t cost you anything.

Work has been completed on Stage 2 of the Wesley Hill Sports Complex Redevelopment and the keys handed to the user groups for their 2019 seasons. MtACE has donated $100,000 to the project thanks to everyone who uses Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco and says, ‘Link my account to MtACE!’ The new pavillion has 4 changerooms for males and females, home and away teams, kiosk, offices and associated facilities for football and netball, umpire rooms UA facilities, public toilets and storage for netball, cycling and football. The multi-use facility can cater for many of the sports at the site and use will be shared by them. What a great community outcome. Well done to all involved.
We love this group! We distribute funds to the community and Mt ACE is currently on the look out for new people to join their team. We just welcomed 2 new members at our AGM in September. If you’re interested in supporting and guiding our funds to the community, please contact us for more information on who we are and what we do. We’d love to talk with you. We quarterly meetings of one hour too! What’s not to love! Contact the Secretary Robyn Lewis on 0438 724 025
Thankyou to everyone who came into the Castlemaine Bendigo Bank with their coupon to receive a free calico shopping bag – that means 100s less plastic bags being used – thankyou!
