Mt Alexander Community Grants Project was formed to support the Wesley Hill Sports Complex Redevelopment and Pre-Driver Education through a funding partnership with Bendigo Community Telco.
The Castlemaine Hot Rod Centre Ltd then developed a similar partnership with Bendigo Bank.
It was decided to combine these groups in 2011 to have one umbrella organisation in the Mount Alexander Shire to fundraise for local projects.
Mt Alexander Community Enterprise Inc now works with both Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco to raise funds for a wide range of local projects including CONNECTED COMMUNITIES GRANTS for Mount Alexander Shire not-for-profit groups.
